Job summary

McCarthy & Stone are recruiting a Relief Care & Support Assistant to join Thomas Court, Pen-y-lan, Cardiff. You will provide high-quality care, assist with housekeeping and activities, and help residents with appointments and transport.

Shifts are on an as-needed basis with an emphasis on compassionate service. The role supports older residents in a Retirement Living Plus community, with opportunities to engage in a range of activities and contribute to their wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in care or support environment preferred.
• Passion for wellbeing of older people and teamwork.
• Customer service mindset and caring approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to residents.
• Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate.
• Support residents in activities that promote wellbeing.
• Help with appointments, transport, and accompany on visits.
• Assist with shopping as needed.
