Job summary

MHA is seeking a Care Assistant (Relief) based at Lawnfield House, Willesden. You will support residents with personal and social care, uphold safeguarding, and contribute to a respectful, dignified environment that promotes independence and wellbeing.

You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, person-centred care, with training opportunities and a supportive culture. Flexible rota duties include weekends, with DBS checks and induction provided.

Qualifications

• Respect and sensitivity for older people.
• Willingness to train to Level 1 or 2 in social care is encouraged.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Caring, patient and empathetic nature.
• Care experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Develop and review individual care plans, including those for residents with dementia.
• Provide personal and social care in line with care plans, improving wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health & safety practices.
