Job summary

MHA's Lawnfield House in Willesden is looking for a Care Assistant (Days) to provide personal and social care consistent with residents’ dignity and independence. You will work with a supportive team across a rota including weekends, following care plans and safeguarding practices.

Qualifications

• You will bring respect and sensitivity for older people.
• You will be willing to be trained and develop (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged).
• You should have good communication and listening skills.
• You must be able to work independently and in a team.
• You should have a caring nature with patience and empathy.
• Care experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions.
• Contribute to developing and reviewing individual care plans, including dementia.
• Provide personal and social care per care plans, promoting wellbeing.
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health & safety practices.
