Qualifications

• Respect and sensitivity for older people
• Willingness to be trained and developed (Level 1 or 2 in social care encouraged)
• Good communication and listening skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Caring, patient and empathetic nature
• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
• Willing to work across a rota including weekends

Responsibilities

• Act as a keyworker for a group of residents and support admissions
• Develop and review individual care plans, including dementia care
• Provide personal and social care per care plans to enhance wellbeing
• Uphold safeguarding, infection control and health & safety practices
