Job summary

The Big Fresh Catering Company in Barry is seeking enthusiastic Relief Café Assistants to help across our Cosmeston Cafe, The Pier Pavilion Cafe and Belle Vue Cafe. You will set up tables, serve meals, wash up and clear away equipment, working Monday to Friday as needed.

This temporary, relief role offers flexible hours at £13.45 per hour and requires a friendly, team-oriented approach to deliver quality meals in line with Welsh Government standards.

• Ability to assist in all areas of the kitchen to achieve the required standards.
• Approachable manner
• Commitment and teamwork towards the service.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and dining areas for service.
• Serve meals to customers.
• Wash up and clear away equipment and surrounding area.
• Support staff across The Pier Pavilion Cafe, Belle Vue Cafe, and Cosmeston Café.

The Big Fresh Catering Company provides healthy nutritious school meals at lunchtime, which is compliant with the Food and Nutrient standards set by the Welsh Government’s Healthy Eating in Schools (Nutritional Standards and Requirements) (Wales) Regulations 2013. About the role

Pay Details: Grade 1, SCP 3 £13.45 p/h
Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 0 hrs per week – Monday to Friday only
Main Place of Work: Cosmeston Cafe /The Pier Pavilion Café / Belle Vue Cafe
