Job summary

Vale of Glamorgan Council is seeking a Catering Assistant to support school meals service. You will help set up dining areas, serve meals, take orders, wash dishes and clear spaces across multiple schools. The role is relief-based with pro rata hours and varies by site.

The ideal candidate can work with others, be approachable, and commit to delivering a high standard of service within the catering team.

About the role

Pay Details: Grade 1, SCP 3 Pro Rata £13.45p/h £25,949 Pro Rata. Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Relief. Main Place of Work: Various. Temporary Reason: Relief.

Description

Enthusiastic Catering Assistant with duties including setting up of the tables and chairs, serving meals, taking orders, washing up and clearing away equipment/surrounding area at various schools.
