Job summary

Mars Wrigley Plymouth is seeking a Reliability Technician to join the factory team. You will manage day-to-day electrical issues, support FMOS processes, and drive plant reliability improvements to achieve world-class performance.

Qualifications

• Advanced technical skills with hands-on engineering experience.
• Strong electrical systems experience, PLC programming and fault finding.
• Commitment to continuous learning and lifecycle reliability.
• Experience developing equipment and process specifications.
• Basic project management within engineering/reliability projects.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve breakdowns and reliability issues.
• Attend FMOS meetings and own electrical/controls actions and root-cause solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through plant enhancements and RCA.
• Review and optimise planned maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
• Provide technical support including repair specifications and performance standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and project updates per team processes.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and external partners while sharing knowledge.
