Job summary

Mars Wrigley Plymouth is hiring a Multi Skilled Technician to maintain plant equipment with a strong electrical bias and control/automation skills. The role is night shift, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 10pm-6am) with a shift allowance and a welcome bonus in the first week salary.

You will diagnose, repair and prevent faults across site processes, supporting reliability and continuous improvement while working within a diverse team in a busy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

HNC in Electrical, Automation, or Multi‑Skilled Engineering or equivalent.
Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and automation issues.
Preventative and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment performance.

Responsibilities

Automation & electrical troubleshooting in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Provide plant‑wide technical support including PLC/servo/HMI issues.
Carry out preventative maintenance and reactive repairs to maximise uptime.
Identify and implement maintenance improvements and document work.
Coach operators and apprentices to develop technical capability.
