Job summary

Unknown manufacturer in Diss, Norfolk is seeking a Reliability (PPM) Engineer to manage daily PPM plans and reliability improvements across production machinery.

The role focuses on proactive maintenance, data analysis, and RCA to maximise uptime and reduce costs. Monday–Friday days with an early finish on Fridays are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be a multi-skilled engineer with hands-on maintenance experience.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments is essential.
• Strong problem-solving ability and RCA skills.
• Proven data analysis skills, ideally using Power BI.
• Experience in reliability or predictive maintenance roles.

Responsibilities

• Deal with day-to-day PPMs, continuous improvement and reliability work.
• Work on production, processing & packaging machinery.
• Complete daily PPMs across full machine line shutdowns.
• Lead proactive engineering activities to maximise uptime and reduce costs.
• Analyze data from machinery, identify trends, perform RCA, implement new PPM plans.
• Use Power BI and OMP to analyze trends from machinery.
• Carry out vibration, thermal imaging and oil analyses.

Do you want to work for a leading manufacturer, part of a multi-billion-pound global group, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. They are looking for an experienced reliability engineer to handle all day to day PPM plans, CI and reliability work.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Dealing with all day to day PPM’s continuous improvement and reliability work
• Working on production, processing & packaging machinery
• Complete daily PPM’s across full machine line shutdowns
• Lead proactive engineering activities to maximise uptime, improve machine performance and reduce maintenance costs
• Analyse data from machinery, identify trends, RCA, implement new solutions, create new PPM plans
• Use tools like Power BI and OMP to analyse trends from machinery
• Carry out vibration analysis, thermal imaging, oil analysis

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Must be a multi-skilled engineer
• Role would suit someone that wants to soley do a PPM based opportunity
• Must have experience of working in manufacturing
• Happy to support maintenance engineers with any machinery breakdowns when needed
• Strong problem solver, able perform RCA
• Proven data analysis skills (ideally using Power BI)
• Experience in a similar reliability engineering, predictive maintenance engineering role
• Strong mechanical fault finding skills, vibration analysis, greasing, oil analysis
