Job summary

Avara Foods Ltd. in Brackley is hiring a Reliability Engineer to drive asset reliability and maintenance planning on site. You will monitor equipment downtime, analyse trends and implement reliability initiatives across the production area.

The role suits engineers with maintenance experience and a strong analytical mindset, working Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 in a busy manufacturing setting. An engineering degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification above L3 (Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required, HND/HNC or L3 engineering qualification may be considered depending on experience).
• Experience in an Engineering Maintenance environment.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Good interpersonal communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high level of reliability and availability of factory equipment through a planned maintenance regime.
• Gather and analyze downtime data to drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate maintenance jobs, both planned and reactive, for the area.
• Review completed job sheets and produce downtime data for weekly meetings.
• Lead and support installation and capital projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers and contractors to resolve issues.
• Develop weekly/monthly maintenance plans to improve asset performance.
