Job summary

MANPOWER is seeking a maintenance technician to operate in a high-speed manufacturing environment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults, and support reliability improvements.

You will read schematics and manuals, follow lockout/tagout and guarding standards, and work with operators to minimise downtime while maintaining safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve production equipment.
• Carry out planned, preventive, and corrective maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Respond quickly and safely to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout and machine guarding standards.
• Identify equipment risks and opportunities for reliability improvement.
• Support root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to maintain safe operations.
• Maintain housekeeping in maintenance areas and around equipment.
• Support continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, uptime, and performance.
