Job summary

MTrec Technical is seeking a Time Served Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our energetic maintenance team on a permanent basis. The role involves fast-moving industrial manufacturing with shift work.

You will repair and maintain plant machinery, respond rapidly to breakdowns, and diagnose or replace control devices such as motors, contactors and sensors. Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics and fabrication is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Time served Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing and working shifts.
• Proficient in mechanical repair, diagnostics and routine maintenance.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems is beneficial.
• Familiar with plant health & safety practices and PPM schedules.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
• Rapid response to breakdowns on production equipment.
• Diagnostic and repair or replacement of control devices such as motors, contactors and sensors.
• Cover both pre-planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement and training initiatives.
