Job summary

K&K Talents is seeking a Release Train Engineer in Bromley, UK. This full-time permanent role focuses on owning the end-to-end Release Management lifecycle and ensuring timely, high-quality software releases across environments.

You will define and implement release processes, collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps and SRE teams, and mentor engineers. The position requires strong coordination, risk assessment, and governance support in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the end-to-end Release Management lifecycle, ensuring predictable, high-quality, and timely releases across environments
• Define, implement, and continuously improve Release Management processes, tools, and best practices
• Demonstrate proven experience in optimizing release processes (e.g., reducing release cycle time, improving success rates, minimizing rollbacks)
• Coordinate closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to plan, schedule, and execute releases
• Ensure proper release readiness, risk assessment, dependency management, and go/no-go decision support
• Lead and mentor release engineers, providing guidance on tools, processes, and operational excellence
• Act as a key stakeholder in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring releases align with sprint and program milestones
• Drive effective communication with stakeholders, including status reporting, release notes, and post-release reviews
• Support audits, compliance needs, and release-related governance as required.
