Global Payments is seeking an experienced Release Manager to define and lead the release strategy for our payment gateways, cloud platforms and supporting services. You will oversee the full release lifecycle, from planning to post-deployment validation, coordinating with engineering, product, security, risk and compliance teams.

The role emphasizes governance, operational resilience and customer impact, with a focus on CI/CD, IaC and scalable release practices across cloud-hosted and hybrid

Competenze

• Knowledge of GlobalPayments products, services, payment processing platforms and customer-facing technology capabilities.
• Knowledge of release management, deployment management, change management, ITIL, service management and operational governance practices.
• Knowledge of cloud, DevOps and platform engineering principles, including CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, container orchestration and observability.
• Knowledge of regulated technology environments, including PCI, audit, security, risk and evidence requirements.

• Lead release strategy and lifecycle for high-availability payment gateways and cloud platforms.
• Define and govern release planning, scheduling, readiness, deployment and post-release validation.
• Coordinate with engineering, platform, product, security, risk and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and operational requirements.
• Champion CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code and observable deployment practices.
• Oversee resource planning, coaching and performance management for Release Managers and delivery resources.
