GlobalPayments is seeking a Release Director to lead the release management strategy for payment gateways, cloud platforms and critical services. You will own the full release lifecycle, coordinating across engineering, product, security and compliance to ensure safe, predictable deployments.

The role requires extensive experience in release management and leadership, with a focus on governance, risk and operational resilience across cloud-hosted and hybrid environments.

Formación

• Nine or more years in release management or software delivery.
• Seven or more years in management or supervisory roles.
• Experience leading release management for high-availability payment services.
• Experience on cloud-hosted and hybrid platforms (AWS, K8s, OpenShift, Terraform).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the release management strategy for gateways, cloud platforms and services.
• Own end-to-end release lifecycle: planning, readiness, deployment and post-release validation.
• Coordinate governance with security, risk, audit and compliance teams.
• Manage resources, forecast needs and drive continuous improvement.
• Champion CI/CD, automation and observability for production releases.
• Interface with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
