Job summary

GlobalPayments is seeking a senior Release Manager to lead the rollout of changes to a high-volume payment gateway and cloud platforms. You will own release governance, planning and stakeholder engagement across distributed teams, ensuring safe, compliant deployments with observable outcomes.

You will manage a team of Release Managers, coordinate resources, and drive automation and best practices in CI/CD, IaC and deployment pipelines across AWS, Kubernetes and related tools.

Qualifications

• Nine or more years of release management, software delivery, technology operations or platform delivery.
• Seven or more years of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience leading release management across business-critical, high-availability payment processing services.

Responsibilities

• Lead release planning, scheduling and governance for cloud platforms and payment gateways.
• Coordinate with engineering, platform, product, security, risk and compliance teams to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.
• Champion CI/CD, infrastructure as code and repeatable deployment practices across cloud-hosted and hybrid platforms.
