Job summary

Kaluza Ltd. in Bristol is seeking a Release, Environments and Change Engineer to own release, environment and change processes.

You will lead automation efforts, apply AI-assisted checks, and govern automated controls across the full environment stack, in collaboration with the REC Manager and Environments Manager. You will run promotion gates, coordinate Go/No-Go meetings, maintain traceable change records, and communicate releases internally and externally.

Qualifications

• Exposure to release processes or environment management is a plus.
• Light scripting or automation experience, or willingness to learn it.
• Calm under time pressure with strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate promotion gates and decide on promote or block actions between environments.
• Facilitate change approvals, release Go/No-Go meetings, and track per-team readiness.
• Use AI-assisted checks to verify quality gates, summarize changes, and flag incomplete records.
• Maintain complete change and configuration records with traceability across environments.
• Build and maintain release automation, including readiness checks and release notes.
• Coordinate with engineering to roll back failed releases and align with incident management.
• Communicate changes and releases, support environment validation, and lead post-implementation reviews.
