Job summary

Kaluza is seeking a Release, Environments and Change Engineer (REC Engineer) at level C2 for a hybrid role in London or Bristol. This permanent position operates release, environments and change processes and leads automation improvements using AI and other tools.

You will work closely with the REC Manager and Environments Manager, coordinating with Enablement and engineering teams to ensure changes are understood, embedded and followed, and to govern automated controls.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing release, environments and change processes.
• Ability to replace manual controls with automation.
• Familiarity with AI tools in software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Operate release, environments and change processes and improve with AI.
• Collaborate with REC Manager and Environments Manager; lead automation efforts.
• Handle client communication for changes or releases; approve/decline when needed.
• Manage promotion gates, Go/No-Go meetings and release trains.
• Maintain change records, calendar, and per-team readiness.
• Build and maintain release automation and AI-drafted release notes.
• Coordinate with incident management to align planned changes with incidents.
• Communicate changes internally and externally; run post-implementation reviews.
