M2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Relationship Manager for its Greater Manchester offices. The role is hybrid, focusing on proactively managing a portfolio of Invoice Finance clients, maintaining relationships, and driving profitability and growth.

You will oversee risk, credit limits, and funding decisions while supporting onboarding and collaboration with Sales and underwriting teams. A strong accounting and risk-management background is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and their practical application, with emphasis on Financial Accounting, Business Finance & Risk Management.

Responsabilités

• Build and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of Invoice Finance clients to maximise retention and contract renewals.
• Develop and maintain risk and recoveries management, including regular client reviews and visits.
• Prepare and contribute to Monthly Portfolio Reviews and contribute to risk and client strategy discussions within the portfolio.
• Make funding decisions on all clients within the portfolio, including setting invoice funding, concentration and credit limits within authority levels and communicating decisions with clients.
• Support the onboarding process for prospective clients, coordinating with Sales and the prospective client.
• Support new business and growth through communication with sales, deal structuring and underwriting.
• Deal with all customer matters efficiently, fairly and consistently in line with cultural values.

Job Description

Our client, a market leading provider of commercial finance solutions, requires an experienced Relationship Manager to join their high performing team in Greater Manchester.

Based from their regional head office (hybrid), your primary responsibility will be to proactively manage and maintain key relationships with a portfolio of Invoice Finance clients. You will be required to manage and develop the portfolio, as well as effectively manage risk, ensure profitability, and maximise revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and develop strong relationships with a portfolio of Invoice Finance clients to maximise retention and maintain contract renewals.
• Develop and maintain appropriate risk and recoveries management, including regular client reviews and visits.
• Prepare and contribute to Monthly Portfolio Reviews Meetings and contribute to risk and client strategy discussions within the portfolio.
• Make funding decisions on all clients within the portfolio, including overseeing the setting of invoice funding, concentration and credit limits within credit authority levels and communication of funding decisions with clients.
• Support the on-boarding process (take-on’s) for prospective clients, leading communication with Sales and the prospective client.
• Support new business and growth through efficient communication with sales team, deal structuring and underwriting process.
• Deal with all customer matters efficiently, fairly and consistently in line with cultural values.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate comprehensive technical and credit risk skills in managing a diverse portfolio of lending facilities. You will have a thorough understanding of accounting principles and their practical application with a detailed understanding of Financial Accounting, Business Finance & Risk Management also preferred.
