I’m working with a brand-new challenger bank that’s preparing to launch in the Scottish Market – and they’re on the hunt for a Relationship Manager to join their founding team in Glasgow.

This is a unique opportunity to join a fresh, forward-thinking banking business at an early stage – with the backing, ambition, and leadership to grow rapidly in the SME and commercial banking space.

As Relationship Manager, you’ll be responsible for building and managing a portfolio of SME and commercial clients across Scotland. You’ll be key to shaping client relationships, supporting growth, and delivering a modern, customer-centric banking experience.

Responsibilities;

• Manage and grow a portfolio of business clients
• Build strong, long-term relationships with SME decision-makers
• Identify client needs and provide tailored banking solutions
• Work closely with credit, product, and compliance teams
• Represent the brand at networking events and within the business community
• Contribute to the strategic growth of the bank’s commercial offering

What We're Looking For;

• Strong background in relationship management, commercial banking, or SME finance
• A proactive, consultative approach to business development
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, start-up style environment
• Solid knowledge of SME lending and commercial banking products
• Based in or near Glasgow with a network in the regional business community (preferred)
