Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc invites applications for a Relationship Management - Commercial Bank - Internship in Manchester. You will work with Relationship Managers to understand clients and help prepare presentations, reports and credit papers, gaining exposure to risk assessments and cross-functional collaboration.

This 10-week programme focuses on developing relationship-led skills in a fast-paced banking environment, with formal learning and on-the-job experience in a collaborative office setting.

Qualifications

• Eligibility criteria are listed: full-time availability for 10 weeks commencing June 2027
• On-track to obtain a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or overseas equivalent)
• Penultimate year of undergraduate study
• Legally permitted to work in the UK for the full duration without HSBC visa sponsorship
• Willingness to learn, good communication, relationship-building and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers and specialist teams to understand each client’s business, goals and challenges
• Assist with client presentations, reports and credit papers
• Contribute to strategic reviews and pitches, and perform financial analysis and risk assessments
• Collaborate with colleagues across Legal, Credit and Risk to deliver tailored solutions
