Job summary

HSBC is offering a 10-week Relationship Management internship in Commercial Banking in Reading. You will work closely with Relationship Managers and specialist teams to learn client needs, portfolios and solutions.

You will assist with presentations, reports and credit papers, while gaining practical credit, risk and relationship management exposure in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing June 2027.
• Will have completed studies by July 2028.
• On-track to obtain a minimum of a 2:1 undergraduate degree (or overseas equivalent).
• Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study.
• Legally permitted to work in the UK for the full duration of the programme without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers and specialist teams to understand client needs.
• Assist with client presentations, reports and credit papers.
• Contribute to strategic reviews and risk assessments on portfolios.
• Collaborate with Legal, Credit and Risk teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Gain exposure to relationship-led banking activities.
