Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Specialist for our Gosforth (Newcastle) club. This part-time role (22.5 hours weekly) focuses on delivering rehabilitation programmes across in-person and remote formats, supporting participants to self-manage their recovery through goal setting and activity plans.

You will run 12-week programmes, deliver both live stream and on-site classes, and provide emotional wellbeing support and coaching via weekly 1-to-1 sessions.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification is essential.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults is desirable.
• Good English and numeracy skills are required.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Organise and run rolling rehabilitation programmes (12 weeks).
• Deliver live-stream and in-person group exercise classes for mixed abilities.
• Promote self-directed activity using on-demand classes and journals.
• Adjust exercises and intensity based on progress and data.
• Identify deterioration and follow escalation processes with timely reporting.
• Conduct weekly 1-to-1 coaching calls to set goals and provide wellbeing support.
