Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Specialist for our Birmingham Rubery club. The role involves delivering rehabilitation programmes across in-person and online formats, facilitating exercise sessions, coaching participants, and supporting emotional wellbeing.

You will use the Nuffield pathway to aid recovery and promote self-management, with weekly 1:1s and group activities. You will lead rolling 12-week programmes, adapt exercises as participants improve, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Experience delivering rehabilitation programmes.
• Ability to coordinate rolling 12-week programmes.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to promote self-directed activity and use on-demand resources.
• Comfort with both live stream and in-person classes.
• Awareness of reporting and data capture processes.

Responsibilities

• Organise and run a series of rolling 12-week rehabilitation programmes.
• Facilitate and deliver live stream and in-person group exercise classes.
• Promote self-directed activity using on-demand classes and journals.
• Re-calibrate exercises based on improvements in effort and performance.
• Identify deterioration and escalate as required with timely reporting.
• Weekly 1-to-1 phone coaching to set goals and provide emotional wellbeing support.
