South Tyneside and Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a part-time Healthcare Assistant to join the ICAR unit. The 24-bed, nurse-led rehabilitation unit focuses on medical, nursing and therapy assessment to optimise independence and wellbeing.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centred care under supervision, bridging personal care and clinical tasks with compassion and commitment. The post supports 26.25 hours per week with a pro-rata salary.

Qualifications

• Proven communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient dignity and confidentiality.
• Willingness to complete Care Certificate and ongoing training.
