North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Rehabilitation Assistant (Prosthetics) to support amputee rehabilitation across acute, community and domiciliary settings. You will work under supervision implementing rehabilitation plans and assist with daily living tasks.

Based at the Cumberland Infirmary Carlisle, the role offers a MDT environment, flexible working, and opportunities for professional development within NHS prosthetics services.

Qualifications

• Good general education including GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• QFC (NVQ) Level 3 in health related subject or willingness and ability to undertake.
• Care Certificate or the willingness and ability to undertake.

Responsabilités

• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to implement rehabilitation plans for amputee patients in various settings.
• Support patients post-amputation in acute, community hospital and domiciliary settings.
• Assist with personal hygiene and activities of daily living as required.
• Flexible working to meet the needs of the service and patients.
• Maintain and document progress within agreed protocols.
