NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a therapy support practitioner to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals under supervision. You will undertake baseline assessments, implement and progress treatment programmes, and help discharge or transition patients within established protocols.

• HNC in healthcare, education or social care or SVQ III in healthcare, education or social care or equivalent experience in a health, education or social care environment.
• Short specialist courses relevant to specific clinical area.
• A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

Responsabilidades

• To work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service.
• Implement, adapt and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
• Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient centred programmes across a variety of clinical settings.
• Discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
• Responsible for a delegated clinical caseload of patients whose treatment follows clearly defined parameters.
• Assess, implement, progress treatment and discharge in accordance with agreed protocols and parameters.
• Plan and prioritise delegated patient caseload.
• Plan and organise a range of therapeutic activities/clinics.
