You will provide guidance and support to members facing regulatory issues and proceedings. Manage a diverse caseload involving professional discipline and regulatory matters, including drafting legal documents, liaising with relevant parties, providing legal advice, and instructing experts or counsel when needed. Opportunities may exist to advocate for members at meetings and hearings.
Qualified solicitors, barristers, or legal executives with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar roles are sought. Foreign qualified solicitors with UK experience are also considered. Experience in healthcare regulation and understanding of current legal frameworks is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to draft clear, case-specific documents are essential.
