Metro Bank is seeking a Regulatory Reporting specialist to join the Finance team in London. You will deliver COREP, FINREP and Bank of England liquidity returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while maintaining a robust control environment.

You will collaborate with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations and IT to implement changes, drive efficiencies, and support audits. A professional accounting qualification and deep UK regulatory knowledge are essential.

Formación

• Regulatory reporting experience in financial services with FINREP/COREP and Liquidity returns.
• Strong knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and reporting requirements.
• Analytical and reconciliation skills; able to interpret regulatory reports and explain findings to senior management.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management; collaborate across Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations and IT.
• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
• Understanding of risk and its implications for stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver accurate COREP, FINREP and Bank of England regulatory returns across liquidity, credit risk, asset encumbrance, leverage, large exposures, LCR, NSFR and ALMM.
• Maintain robust regulatory reporting control environment, strengthening reconciliations, sign-off procedures, documentation, control testing and remediation.
• Drive efficiencies and automation across regulatory reporting, including integrating new returns and enhancing third-party reporting solutions.
• Improve regulatory data quality and governance, working with stakeholders to enhance data completeness, accuracy and reporting capability.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PRA, Basel and wider regulatory requirements, assessing reporting impacts and supporting the management and escalation of regulatory reporting risks.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Treasury, Operations and IT to deliver regulatory reporting change, including regulatory reforms, system upgrades and process improvements.
• Support internal and external audits, preparing evidence and responding to queries, while sharing knowledge and supporting development of junior colleagues.

What You Will Need

• Demonstratable experience in a regulatory reporting role within financial services, with hands-on experience producing FINREP, COREP and Liquidity returns
• Excellent knowledge of the UK regulatory landscape and the requirements governing regulatory reporting
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with the ability to interpret regulatory reports, identify movements and clearly explain findings to senior management
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate regulatory returns to strict reporting deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across Finance, wider teams and with regulators
• Proven people management skills, with experience leading and developing direct reports while contributing effectively as part of a Finance team
• Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent
