Job summary

Monzo is seeking an ambitious Regulatory Reporting professional to help scale our horizon scanning and interpretation activities. Qualifications

• Experience in regulatory reporting and financial compliance.
• Ability to interpret PRA Rulebook, EU CRR and related guidance.
• Strong collaboration with data scientists and engineers.
• Cross-functional communication with Treasury, Risk and Data teams.
• Ability to translate complex regs into actionable reporting rules.

Responsibilities

• Identify and interpret the rules, regulations and guidance applicable to the Regulatory Reporting team at Monzo, ensuring ongoing compliance in production of returns.
• Develop, implement, document and maintain processes and controls to reflect interpretations.
• Ensure processes and controls produce accurate, complete and timely returns.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to source correct data efficiently, accurately and on time.
• Work with Treasury, Risk, Data and project teams to resolve complex regulatory ambiguities for safe outcomes.
• Provide governance over interpretation of regulations and implementation in reporting outputs.
• Review all capital, liquidity and financial regulatory returns for compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement and effective stakeholder engagement to implement changes.
• Support automation of regulatory reporting including implementation, UAT and maintenance.
