Job summary

bet365 Group in Manchester seeks a Software Development Team Lead for Regulatory Data to steer a cross-functional team delivering regulatory reporting software. The role focuses on high-quality design, performance, and reliability within a cloud-centric stack.

You will mentor engineers, coordinate with Finance and Compliance, and drive AI-enabled workflows while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with GCP and BigQuery in cloud architecture.
• Leadership of geographically distributed software teams.
• Experience driving AI-enabled workflows and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Strong communication and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial database development and optimisation with SQL Server / T-SQL / BigQuery.

Responsibilities

• Managing team performance; mentoring and coaching and supporting development goals.
• Supporting the technical lead in adopting AI solutions to enhance workflows.
• Ensuring governance to meet regulatory reporting requirements with good design.
• Owning delivery of reporting solutions to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with Finance, Compliance and stakeholders to prioritise work.
• Overseeing risks, issues and external dependencies to completion.
• Identifying improvements to practices and processes for high-quality software.
