Job summary
bet365 is seeking a Senior Regulatory Data Developer to modernise reporting pipelines and build scalable cloud architectures in Google Cloud Platform. You will lead the transformation of legacy SQL Server systems into BigQuery/Dataform pipelines and mentor engineers while embracing AI-assisted development tools.
The role is full-time with a hybrid work-from-home policy, supporting 24/7 global operations and complex data estates.
Qualifications
- Experience with Google BigQuery and Dataform for data modelling and query optimisation.
- Advanced SQL skills including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proven track record building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with GCP services like Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead regulatory data projects from planning to delivery.
- Design and maintain reporting systems across SQL Server and GCP.
- Build resilient ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation and validation.
- Modernise legacy SQL Server solutions into scalable GCP architectures.
- Embed CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and documentation.
- Mentor engineers and support delivery planning with stakeholders.
- Apply AI-assisted tools to improve engineering quality and consistency.
