Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Regulatory Data Team Leader to drive the delivery of regulatory reporting software. You will lead a cross-functional team, ensure outputs meet strict regulatory standards, and uphold high design and performance.

The role supports hybrid working under bet365’s policy. The ideal candidate will have deep GCP/BigQuery expertise, experience with AI-enabled workflows, and a track record of managing distributed software teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with GCP and BigQuery and cloud architecture.
• Proven ability to lead a geographically distributed software delivery team.
• Experience applying AI tools to improve workflows and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and driving clear solution designs.
• Background in regulatory or commercial gambling environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of regulatory reporting software solutions.
• Mentor and coach team; provide clear status updates and risk escalation.
• Governance to ensure outputs meet regulatory requirements and design best practices.
• Collaborate with Finance, Compliance and stakeholders to prioritise work.
• Oversee risks, issues and external dependencies through to completion.
• Identify improvements to processes and tooling to accelerate high-quality delivery.
