Job summary

Société Générale is seeking a Trainee to join the Regulatory & Compliance Oversight team in the UK. You will gain hands-on experience in regulatory governance, compliance risk management and SMCR, supporting change initiatives and governance processes across the bank.

The role involves coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and collaborating with stakeholders across business and support functions while developing a career in regulation, compliance, risk and governance.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in UK banking regulation and regulatory governance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments from FCA, PRA and other bodies.
• Support projects related to regulatory change and implementation.
• Assist with SMCR and governance obligations.
• Coordinate governance meetings and committees, prepare materials, track actions.
• Support compliance risk assessments, reporting and MI.
