Job summary

Société Générale UK Wholesale Compliance team is seeking an experienced DFA Title VII regulatory expert to advise on compliance matters across SGLB and SGIL. The role focuses on providing regulatory guidance, reviewing marketing materials, and supporting governance with a global perspective.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage regulatory relationships, and contribute to the ongoing oversight of compliance risk in derivatives trading and related activities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in wholesale banking and financial services.
• Broad exposure to derivatives and related markets.
• Thorough understanding of OTC derivatives regulations, especially DFA Title VII.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet regulatory deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with data interpretation skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-changing regulatory landscape.
• Ability to make decisive, well-supported decisions and operate both independently and in teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related office software.

Responsibilities

• Provide DFA Title VII regulatory advice to SGLB/SGIL and business/support teams; address compliance queries and oversee investigations.
• Deliver compliance opinions as part of New Product Committees; review materials for regulatory compliance.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders; communicate regulatory changes and provide training.
• Contribute to DFA governance and policy drafting within the Compliance framework.
• Investigate and report compliance breaches; participate in regulatory examinations and audits.
