Job summary

Société Générale UK Compliance team is seeking a knowledgeable professional to support DFA Title VII compliance across SGLB and SGIL. The role involves advising on regulatory changes, preparing committees materials, and engaging with regulators as needed.

You will contribute to the assessment of regulatory and reputational risk, deliver compliance training, and help ensure materials and marketing are compliant. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in wholesale banking activities.
• Broad exposure to derivatives products and related activities.
• Thorough understanding of OTC derivatives regulations, especially Dodd-Frank Title VII.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure; data analysis capability.
• IT literate with proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide compliance advice and support to SGLB and SGIL, including regulatory matters under DFA and other topics.
• Design and deliver compliance training and communicate regulatory changes.
• Draft and review policies, procedures, and New Product Committee inputs.
• Identify, investigate, and report compliance breaches within the team perimeter.
• Engage with industry groups on regulatory developments relevant to DFA.
• Prepare reporting for local management committees and governance bodies.
