We have an exciting role on offer within our Public Protection Service as a Regulatory Compliance Officer/Trainee Environmental Health Officer.
The Public Protection service is passionate about improving the lives and living standards of residents, protecting the environment, protecting consumer interests, and supporting a strong local economy.
We are offering a great opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive individual with a keen interest in public service to join our team as a Regulatory Compliance Officer and to train to become an Environment Health Officer.
The successful candidate will need to be committed to learning and personal development and focused on developing a career in Environmental Health.
We offer a fully funded degree level qualification with support from Environmental Health and Trading Standards professionals.
The post is based in the Private Sector Housing team delivering statutory functions including the assessment of housing standards and investigation of complaints, as well as supporting the broader functions of the Public Protection service.
