Job summary

National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer to join the Castle Donington team. The role involves training delivery, assurance checks, handling regulatory queries and disseminating policy updates across the organisation.

Travel to other locations is anticipated, with a hybrid office/home working arrangement after training. The ideal candidate will have substantial regulated environment experience, strong communication skills and an ability to translate

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated environment and understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to different audiences.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Regulatory Compliance Team accountabilities.
• Deliver a programme of training for field teams, graduates, apprentices, central functions and contractors.
• Coordinate training requirements with procurement teams for contractors involved in regulatory works.
• Manage field compliance queries and provide feedback to improve information quality.
• Stay updated on regulatory policies and disseminate changes to teams.
• Update SharePoint as needed and assist with year-end regulatory reporting.
• Assist with handling Stage 3 and 4 complaints and provide regular updates to the Team Manager.
• Undertake other duties to support the Regulatory Compliance Team.
