National Grid is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer for its Castle Donington area. The role supports delivery of regulatory compliance duties, training programmes and reporting within a hybrid office/remote setup.
You will work with the Regulatory Compliance Team to manage queries, updates, and dissemination of regulatory guidance acrossNGED and other locations, with occasional travel to sites. A full driving licence is preferred.
An opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Compliance Officer based at our Castle Donington office. Travel to other locations throughout the distribution business should be anticipated.
In this role you will report to the Regulatory Compliance Team Manager and will play a key part in training, assurance checks, managing queries, providing feedback and disseminating information to the rest of the organisation.
The successful candidate will ideally have significant experience in a regulated environment, and can demonstrate an understanding of regulatory compliance, RIIO ED2, and regulations relevant to electricity distribution, or a proven track record that shows the ability to quickly pick up the knowledge and apply as required.
You will have the ability to convey complex strategic ideas and proposals to a wide range of audiences in a structured and logical way. You will also have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities and have excellent attention to details.
Due to travel across the distribution services areas, a full clean driving licence is preferred.
As part of our hybrid working approach this role offers a mix of office and home working. Hybrid working can only be considered once your initial training is complete and subject to business need.
