Job summary

Lantern is seeking two Compliance Officers on a 12-month FTC to cover maternity leave, with hybrid work requiring 2 days in the office in LS1 and LS28. You will join Lantern’s 2nd Line of Defence, performing monitoring, assurance, and risk reporting to ensure regulatory adherence.

The role demands experience in a regulated environment, strong regulatory interpretation, and effective stakeholder communication. A proactive, collaborative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated environment is essential.
• Ability to interpret regulation and provide clear recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Complete compliance monitoring reviews with terms of reference and materiality assessment.
• Perform horizon scanning to inform regulatory impacts for the business.
• Carry out supplier monitoring checks per the plan (including onboarding).
• Support Senior Management with risk incidents or regulatory breach activity.
• Escalate and document control failures to keep risk registers current.
