Job summary

Jobtailor in London seeks a senior regulatory reporting professional to own change initiatives across multi-regime reporting. You will lead platform implementations with offshore teams, drive data quality improvements, and manage client queries with credibility.

The role requires hands-on processing when needed, mentoring of junior staff, and a strong track record in operational reporting within financial services.

Qualifications

• Extensive regulatory operations and reporting experience in financial services.
• Broad multi-regime experience across G20 transaction and trade reporting frameworks (EMIR, SFTR, MiFID II/MiFIR, CFTC, SEC, ASIC, MAS, HKMA, CSA).
• Hands-on experience with reconciliation platforms, including implementation or phased rollout.
• Track record of change delivery within an operational reporting environment, including process improvement and automation of manual tasks.
• Experience with data quality remediation and regulatory controls.
• Analytical rigour to support findings presented to clients.
• Comfortable working with offshore delivery teams across time zones.
• Willingness to perform hands-on processing when coverage requires it.
• Confident client-facing manner and ability to hold third parties accountable.
• Experience managing or mentoring a direct report.

Responsibilities

• Own the change agenda across the managed regulatory reporting service.
• Act as the primary contact for change-the-bank matters alongside the run-the-bank lead.
• Line-manage and support the London-based reporting specialist.
• Lead the second phase of the reconciliation platform implementation with the offshore delivery team.
• Define and realise efficiency gains from the platform implementation.
• Deliver process improvements, including migrating manual tasks to the platform and improving break management and data quality.
• Own and respond to client queries within agreed timeframes.
