Job summary

Castle Trust Bank is seeking an experienced Compliance Advisory Manager to provide expert regulatory guidance across mortgages, consumer credit and savings products. You will act as a trusted adviser to the business, challenging proposals and ensuring customer outcomes stay at the heart of decisions.

The role is based in Basingstoke on a hybrid basis, with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. You will influence stakeholders and support regulatory change across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a UK regulated financial services environment (mortgages/consumer credit/savings).
• Second line Compliance advisory experience.
• Deep knowledge of FCA requirements (Consumer Duty, conduct risk).
• FCA Handbook familiarity (MCOB, CONC, BCOBS, DISP, PROD).
• Experience supporting product governance and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert compliance advice across consumer credit, mortgage and savings products.
• Interpret FCA guidance and translate into practical, commercial solutions.
• Review policies, journeys and controls to ensure regulatory alignment and good outcomes.
• Challenge proposals where risks are identified and advocate compliant solutions.
• Prepare regulatory analyses, governance papers and reporting.
