Job description

We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Administrator to join our Curriculum and Academic Affairs team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, managing information accurately and contributing to a high-quality student experience.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across the student lifecycle, with a particular focus on curriculum setup and publication, including course, module and associated information. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely curriculum and associated records, processing information through student record systems, and responding to enquiries in line with agreed service levels.

You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the department and wider University, providing advice, support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to identify improvements to processes and contribute to service enhancement and best practice.

We are looking for someone with relevant administrative experience, or a recent graduate, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. You will be confident using Microsoft Office, have a proactive approach to problem solving and be committed to delivering excellent customer service. Knowledge of student record processes would be desirable.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update curriculum and associated records, ensuring information is accurate, complete and delivered within agreed timescales.
  • Support the setup and publication of curriculum information, including courses, modules and associated information.
  • Provide high-quality, student-centred administrative support across the student lifecycle.
  • Provide advice, support and guidance to colleagues and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurately process and input data into the Student Record system and relevant external systems.
  • Respond to enquiries and ensure they are actioned in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Liaise with colleagues across the department and wider University, and with external bodies where required.
  • Contribute information and insight to support the enhancement of services and University functions.
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the implementation of service enhancements and the adoption of sector-aligned best practice.
  • Maintain a strong focus on the student experience and contribute to Directorate objectives.
