Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for two Registrar-level (ST3+ equivalent) Trust Doctor roles in the Specialty and Integrated Medicine CSU. These fixed-term posts run until 3 August 2027 and suit residents with Internal Medicine Training and GMC registration seeking broader experience before Higher Specialty Training.

Qualifications

• Fully registered with the General Medical Council and licensed to practise by start date.
• At least 12 months NHS experience in Acute, General and/or Elderly Medicine, including 6 months at registrar level.

Responsibilities

• Cover SDEC, Acute Medical Units and inpatient Specialty Wards.
• Provide training in management of acutely unwell patients, CGA, rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Out-of-hours involvement in acute unselected take.
