Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications for two Registrar-level (ST3+ equivalent) Trust Doctor positions within the Specialty and Integrated Medicine CSU at St James's University Hospital, Leeds.

These posts are fixed term until 3 August 2027 and suitable for doctors who have completed Internal Medicine Training and hold GMC registration, aiming to gain further experience before Higher Specialty Training.

Qualifications

• Must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice by start date.
• Experience in Internal Medicine Training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Cover areas including Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC), Acute Medical Units, and in-patient Specialty Wards.
• Provide training in the management of acutely unwell and deteriorating patients, comprehensive geriatric assessment, rehabilitation and discharge planning.
• Out-of-hours, Registrar-level doctors contribute to the acute unselected take in a broad range of general medical presentations.
