Position Overview
The Registrar at Guildhouse School London plays a key middle leadership role, supporting the student lifecycle from initial enquiry to graduation. The Registrar ensures a smooth and positive experience for all international students.
Main Responsibilities
- Admissions & Student Support:
- Conduct student interviews and site tours.
- Serve as the primary contact for visits from agents, students, and parents.
- Support alumni network development.
- Oversee student events, induction weeks, and registration.
- Coordinate student induction and registration processes.
- Assist students with settling into the UK, including opening bank accounts.
- Ensure students are registered on the school's MIS and platforms.
- Manage post-arrival issues and student retention efforts.
- Deliver excellent service to prospective clients and visitors.
- Coordinate open days and events with senior staff.
- Student Communications Team Management:
- Lead and manage the Student Communications Team, maintaining high standards.
- Improve communication channels for students, parents, and agents.
- Act as the main contact for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with UKVI and ISI regulations.
- Respond to issues within 24 hours, prioritizing urgent matters.
- Build strong relationships with students and agents.
- UKVI & ISI Compliance and Reporting:
- Work with the Immigration Compliance Officer to ensure adherence to UKBA rules.
- Support students with visas and parental permissions.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate student data on the MIS.
- Verify contact details and manage records related to admissions.
- Administration:
- Ensure timely correspondence and documentation.
- Maintain filing systems for admissions records.
- Ensure accurate reporting documentation.

- Understanding of admissions, student support, UKVI/ISI compliance.
- Familiarity with student management systems and data protection laws.
