An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated senior trainee (ST4 or above) with an interest in leadership, management, and quality improvement to join Northwick Park Hospital.

This is a fixed-term role for a minimum of 12 months and includes participation in the on-call rota.

The chief registrar role offers senior trainees 40% protected time to develop skills in leadership, management, and quality improvement. Trainees will participate in the Royal College of Physicians’ (RCP’s) bespoke development programme (September 2025 - June 2026), which covers topics such as change management, team culture, quality improvement, leadership, influencing, and personal resilience.
The role involves supporting projects that address key local challenges and priorities, including service improvement, engagement, morale, education, training, workforce, and sustainability.
Attendees will gain experience in modules delivered as part of the RCP’s development programme, providing autonomy, flexibility, and support for project development.
