Job description

Here at New Street Vets, Honiton, we are looking for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The role involves all first opinion nursing duties, with shifts split between consults and operating.

About us

We are a small, friendly 1st opinion practice based in beautiful East Devon, close to the sea and countryside. Our practice has recently been refurbished with digital x-ray and dental x-ray equipment.

We have a lovely client base, and continuity of care is encouraged. All our Registered Veterinary Nurses have trained with us and stayed with us. We are CPD-funded and encourage ongoing professional development.

We support local charities such as Cats Protection and Greyhound Rescue, and participate in community events like local rugby matches and dog shows.

Working hours/rota

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week. Shifts are either 8 am-5 pm or 10 am-7 pm, with 1 in 4 Saturdays from 8:30 am-1 pm. There is no on-call requirement. Part-time applicants are also welcome.
