An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and confident Assistant Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team on a part-time basis at our 24-hour hospital in Poole, Dorset. Our practice boasts a loyal and friendly client base who value our personalized service.

As part of our team, you will have access to a supportive network of Vets, Nurses, and Receptionists. We are looking for a well-rounded professional with a keen interest in laparoscopy and/or small animal surgery, ideally with a certificate in these areas or working towards one. We are happy to fund further training for the right candidate.

The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of UK small animal practice (or UK equivalent) experience and be confident working in a busy environment while maintaining a high standard of clinical judgement.

This role requires 2 days per week, with a 1:6 full weekend equivalent to 21 hours per week, allowing for that ever-elusive work-life balance.
