Are you a Registered Veterinary Nurse looking to take the next step in your career—or soon to qualify and eager to get started? We’d love to welcome you to our friendly, dedicated team at Abivale Veterinary Group. With four well-established practices across South Oxfordshire, we’re proud to provide outstanding small animal care, including 24-hour emergency services.
This is a hands-on, varied nursing position where you’ll be involved in all areas of patient care. You’ll work across our surgeries in Abingdon, Didcot, Wallingford, and Wantage, supporting a range of clinical activities including anaesthesia, radiology, ultrasonography, inpatient care, and general nursing duties. The role includes laboratory work using our in-house diagnostics equipment, and you’ll be an integral part of maintaining high standards of patient and client care.
You’ll work a 40-hour week across 5 days, with 8-hour shifts. Weekends and bank holidays are worked on a shared rota basis, with time off in lieu provided. There’s no out-of-hours requirement, as we have a dedicated night team covering this service.
